Founded by Jonathan Bensamoun (Square) and Loren Kirkby (Dropcam, Google/Nest) in 2017, Fi builds cutting-edge technology to elevate the relationship between dog parents and their dogs. Since launching the first GPS-enabled tracking collar in 2019, Fi has empowered millions of dog parents with insights about their dogs’ whereabouts and behavior.

 

I’ve completely redesigned how Fi thinks about its social strategy and positioned the brand as the fastest-growing consumer pet brand on social media in 2023.

  • Achieved the title of the fastest-growing consumer pet brand, as recognized by USA Reformer, based on Year-to-Date (Q1/Q2) Follower Growth data.
  • Surpassed 1 billion organic social impressions within a year.
  • Introduced 6 secondary accounts strategically to boost community engagement and enhance social awareness.
  • Spearheaded the launch and rapid growth of @OfficeDogs, amassing over 100,000 followers in just 3 months to spotlight Fi’s culture and job opportunities.
  • Fostered a thriving influencer program with over 500 active micro-influencers.
  • Launched social listening tools to not only actively engage in pertinent conversations but also adeptly convert social users into customers.
  • Traveled across the country to engage dog parents in real-life settings at dog meetups, amplifying Fi’s presence on social media.
  • Pioneered @DogAwards, quickly becoming the most followed Dog Award show on social media, with tens of thousands of Instagram users reposting.
  • Leveraged my expertise in automation by creating Instagram direct message bots, elevating community engagement and streamlining customer service, thus reducing costs.
